Cadel Engineering Works has developed a Quick release Assembly CADCON valve.
This version facilitates to assemble and disassemble the Valve without having to use tools.
This version is available with Rubber Diaphragm (Double Diaphragm moulded in single piece) in 6″ size. This version is available with PU coated Nylon diaphragm in sizes from 6″ to 12″.
These types of Valves are developed to facilitate opening in confined places where there is limited scope for operating the valves. The thickness of valve is greatly reduced in this design.
Tri Clover fixing Arrangement allows CADCON valve to be fixed to equipment with ease.
The Valve can be fixed & removed with one single movement of the clamp.
An optional feature for both (CVSL & CVDL) series is a “wear sleeve” passing through the orifice of the diaphragm.
The Sleeve will carry the material (e.g. powders, granules etc.) without direct contact with the diaphragm.
This feature helps to enhance the life of the diaphragm and the product safety.
Guide/ Wear Sleeves are available in Silicon Rubber in sizes from 100mm to 200mm & in PU Coated Polyester in sizes from 100mm to 450mm.

CADCON Valve Double lock (CVDL) can be used along with specially selected diaphragm to seal wall openings which are used for material transfer.
Typically, a custom designed CVDL is fitted into a partition wall. The tubes carrying gas or liquid are passed through the valve opening. The valve is used to control the flow of liquid or gas. During the product changeover, the flexible tubes are removed from the centre of valve & replaced with new tubes for the new product. In case the new product does not require liquid or gas transferred from adjacent room, the valve is kept in closed condition, thereby isolating the rooms.

In some applications of CVSL valves, there is a requirement of a downstream sealed connection to vessel or pipe or equipment for flow of material.
This is not possible in conventional CVSL valve as the bottom flange is movable. To overcome this limitation, CVSL valve can be fitted with an additional non-moving bottom flange. This non-moving flange of CVSL valve is available in matching design to flange of downstream vessel or pipe or equipment so that a sealed connection can be achieved with upstream CVSL valve.
